It was the year that Candace Parker became the first woman to win North America’s premier dunk contest. Her spectacular win proved her amazing talent, as she bested high flyers such as Josh Smith, Rudy Gay and J.R. Smith. This contest victory made her dunk contest legend! Ashlyn Watkins and Fran Belibi thoroughly dominated the competition with otherworldly aerial displays.
