Victor Wembanyama, the rookie sensation of the San Antonio Spurs, has taken the NBA by storm. He wows fans with his dazzling performances and steals their hearts with his rare off-the-court charisma. As Halloween approaches, fans are eagerly anticipating what costume Wembanyama might unveil this year, following his viral Halloween outfit from last season.
Earlier this week, Wembanyama put on a show in several areas during a high-flying debut against the Utah Jazz. He finished the game with 25 points, 9 rebounds, 7 assists, 5 steals, and 5 blocks. This was the second time in his career he’s finished at least five in five separate statistical categories. He did all of this extraordinary stuff in one game.
After the game, Wembanyama was clearly pumped that he now gets to celebrate Halloween. He admitted that scheduling conflicts will keep him away from celebrating on the real day.

So last Halloween, Wembanyama really leaned into the spooky fun. He cosplayed as No-Face, from the Academy Award-winning animated classic “Spirited Away.” This year, he launched his initial Halloween game in 2023. He wore a full black one-piece number that was straight out of Slenderman with a mask that concealed his entire face.
Wembanyama has a creative artistic side, so he must have been bummed out this Halloween. He will not easily be able to share a costume with his constituents.

Beyond his off-court persona, Wembanyama has still been an on-court revelation. His performance against the Phoenix Suns earlier this season was commendable, as he contributed 18 points, 8 rebounds, and 4 blocks in a narrow 115-114 victory. Good luck to the Spurs in their next game on Thursday! Fans are already lining up hoping to catch a glimpse of Wembanyama in the pre-game.
