The fifth edition of The Hundred promises to enthrall cricket fans from 5th to 31st August, 2025. This groundbreaking tournament includes eight teams competing in parallel men’s and women’s formats. The teams participating in this year’s competition include Welsh Fire, London Spirit, Southern Brave, Birmingham Phoenix, Trent Rockets, Northern Superchargers, Manchester Originals, and Oval Invincibles.
The first match features the women’s teams, London Spirit facing off against Oval Invincibles at 14:45. This will be followed by the men’s match between the same teams at 18:30. Combined with the energetic atmosphere of the event, this simultaneous competition format creates an electric atmosphere. It further provides cricket fans with a unique and fast-paced live event experience.
As the tournament progresses, riveting encounters are bound to occur on the different pitches. Most importantly, fans will get to see their favorite teams and stars go head-to-head! On Sunday, 10 August, Southern Brave will play against Birmingham Phoenix at the Utilita Bowl, with the women’s match starting at 11:00 and the men’s match following at 14:30.
The schedule continues to ramp up on Monday, 11 August, when Manchester Originals host London Spirit at Emirates Old Trafford, commencing at 15:00 for the women’s event.
On Saturday, 16 August, the competition will see Trent Rockets face Southern Brave at Trent Bridge, with the women’s match at 11:00 and the men’s match scheduled for 18:30. It’s childcare, it’s prep time, it’s being able to go and grab something to eat. Manchester Originals vs Northern Superchargers is going to be an electrifying encounter! The women’s match begins at 11:00, while the men’s game follows at 14:30.
The action does not stop there. On Monday, 18 August, Southern Brave will meet Oval Invincibles at Utilita Bowl for both teams in their respective formats—women’s match at 15:00 and men’s match at 18:30.
Tuesday, 19 August will feature a contest between Trent Rockets and Manchester Originals at Trent Bridge, with games starting at 15:00 for women and 18:30 for men. The tournament continues on Wednesday, 20 August with Welsh Fire taking on Southern Brave at Sophia Gardens, where the women’s match kicks off at 11:30 and the men’s match starts at 15:00.
Besides the regular matches and elimination round matches, The Hundred has both Women’s and Men’s Eliminators that lead into the Women’s and Men’s Finals. These high-stakes games will be played on Saturday, 30 August, at The Kia Oval. The tournament will end with an amazing double finals on Sunday, 31 August. Just like the Women’s and Men’s T20 finals, they will be held at the historic Lord’s cricket ground.
