That all changed this past season, as he truly blossomed, averaging 15.3 points and 10.2 rebounds per game. His phenomenal all around game speaks to how impactful he has been on both sides of the floor. Williams has 44 games under his belt this season, a career high. This incredible achievement comes after being chosen 30th overall in the first round of the 2022 NBA Draft.
Injuries have hindered Williams’ progress throughout his career. His performance this past season suggests he is on an upward trajectory. He’ll be eligible for a contract extension this upcoming summer. The Suns are wishing on a star that he can continue to maintain his high level of play and improved health longterm.
