Recently, he’s made waves both for his extraordinary play and a viral clip that has fans and media buzzing. As the team gears up for the upcoming season, Diggs emphasized his commitment to being prepared for the September 7 opener against the Las Vegas Raiders.

This is Diggs tenth year in the NFL. He continued to prove his talent by winning the team’s receivers in one-on-one drills at the last few practices. He distinguished himself by going off to the side during team practice. This demonstrated his commitment to ensuring he stayed at the top of his game. Titans head coach Mike Vrabel lauded Diggs for his work and leadership in recent weeks. He alluded to the importance of sound decision making as a key competitive advantage to the team.

Even under the intense watch of the national buzz over the viral boat video, Diggs kept his eyes on the prize. He continued to focus on his training and looked forward to the new season. When asked about the video, he stated, “Obviously, it’s a conversation that’s happening internal, which I can’t have too much of a conversation with [you] about it.” He further added, “I want to be as candid with you as possible, but I kind of have a thing where I don’t talk about my personal life with people I don’t know personally.”

Diggs’ level of maturity and experience in the league has enabled him to navigate the tricky media landscape with greater proficiency. He remarked, “I’ve been in this league 10 years. You can format your question many different ways. I’m going to obviously answer it the same way.”

When talking about how ready he was for the season opening game, Diggs just couldn’t hide how excited he was to do his job. “We’ll see how it goes. Obviously, I’m grinding each and every day. I’m eager to get out there, so whenever they do push the button, I’m going to be ready. … Where I am right now, I wouldn’t really put a percentage on it, but I got some work to do,” he noted.

Diggs’ dedication to his craft is shown by how he carries himself on the field week in and week out. In 2019, he received Pulitzer Prize recognition for his body of exceptional work. He was recognized by the National Sports Media Association as Massachusetts Sportswriter of the Year. He started his career in sports journalism by covering the New England Patriots in 1997. Then in 2009, he made an even bigger leap and hopped over to ESPN.

Diggs is clearly approaching the 2023 campaign with some focus and fire. He’s continuing to hone his craft and make the leap into dealing with the immense challenge of public scrutiny. His coach and his teammates back him up hard. He hopes to make an even bigger impact when the Bills take on the Raiders.
