Stallions Secure T10 Final Spot as Bulls and Quetta Qavalry Shine

NFL-alum-led Stallions stampeded into the T10 final after a wild contest. Second, they chased down the Bulls’ total with three balls to spare! Ben Cutting, Andre Fletcher and Rahmanullah Gurbaz produced match-winning performances to help the Stallions to a memorable win. The game was action packed with exciting batting from both squads.

In a barnburner of a game, the Bulls managed 119 runs on five wickets. England’s Phil Salt led the offensive charge, appearing nearly unflappable in his skill and focus. Salt’s fireworks — he jacked 44 runs off 17 balls — gave the Five to 35, scoring at a ridiculous rate. Meanwhile Australia’s Tim David set the innings alight with a muscular 40 off just 13 deliveries. On the other hand, Rovman Powell finished with a flourish hitting 32 off 10 balls to put the Stallions a challenging target.

The Stallions were quick to react, with explosive allrounder Ben Cutting banging the door down with a brutal 39 runs off just 18 balls. His efforts, alongside Andre Fletcher’s explosive 30 runs off 15 deliveries and Rahmanullah Gurbaz’s remarkable 29 runs off just 10 balls, ensured they reached their target with relative ease.

The match saw both teams exhibiting their batting prowess, it was the Stallions who emerged victorious, demonstrating their capability to perform under pressure.

It’s official: Faf du Plessis will not be in the 2026 Indian Premier League (IPL) auction. This announcement follows his leadership in the T10 lawsuit for his home city. Instead, he is reportedly poised to take on a fresh challenge in the Pakistan Super League (PSL). Looking back on his IPL decision, Du Plessis said he could not have asked for a better IPL experience.

They achieved a resurgence after a loss with a 39-run win against Vista Riders before extending it to two wins with victory over Ajman Titans by three wickets. Their most recent game saw them post 102 runs for the loss of just six wickets. Andries Gous was the top scorer with 26 runs (Liam Livingstone 25) with the bat.

Beth Mooney and Sophie Devine were vital to the Qavalry’s success, scoring 41 off 34 balls and 46 off 24 balls respectively. Together, their collective efforts helped guide the team to another impressive victory.

In the SA20 league, Jordan Cox came in to the Pretoria Capitals as a replacement player. He had come in for the injured Saqib Mahmood. This tango solidifies an impressive Capitals roster as they continue to try to stay at the top of the pack in an ultra-competitive league.
