Scheffler Set for Return at AT&T Pebble Beach Pro-Am

Scottie Scheffler has confirmed his participation in the AT&T Pebble Beach Pro-Am next week, marking his return to competitive golf since his victory at the Hero World Challenge in the Bahamas on December 8. This tournament will feature Scheffler after a brief hiatus following a successful year marked by multiple victories, including an Olympic gold medal and a Masters green jacket. The Pro-Am event, known for its sizable field of 80 players due to its amateur component, will take place over two days at the iconic Pebble Beach and Spyglass Hill courses.

After an impressive season, Scheffler faced a series of challenges that led to his recent absence from the tour. He underwent wrist surgery following the first FedEx Cup postseason event and sustained a puncture wound to his right hand while preparing Christmas dinner. These setbacks prompted him to miss The Sentry at Kapalua and The American Express in the California desert. During this recovery period, Scheffler focused on lower body workouts as he awaited the healing of his hand.

Despite these challenges, Scheffler's determination remains unwavering. He teamed up with Rory McIlroy on December 17 in Las Vegas, capturing a swift victory against LIV Golf stars Brooks Koepka and Bryson DeChambeau in a made-for-TV match. Scheffler's return to the Pebble Beach Pro-Am reflects his enduring passion for the sport.
