The countdown to healthy competition for starting positions is on! It seems like offensive lineman Anthony Bradford is starting to take the lead for the right guard position. Bradford is up against some stiff competition. The competition there is good with both Christian Haynes and Jalen Sundell wanting to lock up their spots on the line. Olu Oluwatimi is absolutely battling with Jalen Sundell for the starting center role. At best, he’s competing with the Bradford kid for the right guard position.
The fierce competition on the offensive line is indicative of the team’s broader strategy to enhance protection for their quarterbacks. Sam Darnold even said that plays need to be executed on time and with tempo to work.
