Odunze’s breakout season has continued to enthrall college football fans. As such, he has quickly become one of the breakout stars of the league.
In a recent battle with the New Orleans Saints, Odunze showed why he’s worth the hype. He ended on a high note with six catches for 112 yards. This performance was the young tight end’s first NFL touchdown, a milestone that only increases the hype surrounding his emerging career. Despite a strong first half where he recorded all six targets, Odunze did not see any opportunities in the second half, raising questions about the team’s offensive strategy.
Odunze had his coming-out party as a rookie in Week 3. In a close 21-16 defeat to the Indianapolis Colts last week, Williams looked his way 11 times.
