Rising Star Jeremiah Fears to Enter 2025 NBA Draft

Jeremiah Fears, a class of 2026 freshman basketball star at Oklahoma University, has just dropped the most exhilarating cut video. He will declare for the 2025 NBA Draft and leave college early. He had a monster season, putting up 17.1 points, 4.1 rebounds and 4.1 assists. He was able to put up these great numbers while only playing around 30 MPG. The 18-year-old, who will turn 19 in early/mid-October, would have been graduating high school in 2025, but he chose to enter college a year ahead of schedule.

Fears is the little brother of Jeremy Fears Jr., who is the starting point guard at Michigan State. He takes pride in growing the family legacy further in the sport of basketball. Their dad, Jeremy Fears Sr., was a Division I basketball player at Ohio and Bradley University. He went on to a successful six-season career in Europe. This dense basketball culture has understandably played a huge role in Jeremiah’s evolution as an athlete.

On the court, Fears had a major influence on his team during his freshman season. As a result, he scored a spot on the SEC All-Freshman team. His game highest shone during the clutch and tense moments of the SEC tourney. He dazzled the crowds, going for 29 points against Georgia and 28 points against Kentucky in front of those NBA scouts who were paying careful attention. After these performances, many believed he was the clear #1 overall pick in the impending NBA draft. ESPN still has him as the No. 7 prospect in its draft projections.

“My dad has been a big influence as someone that played and knows the game,” Jeremiah Fears stated, highlighting the invaluable guidance he has received from his father.

Fears expressed gratitude for his opportunity at Oklahoma, saying, “I was lucky to walk into a great situation at Oklahoma with a lot of opportunity.” His personal development was a result of his college experience. It pushed the Oklahoma Sooners into the 2021 NCAA tournament, as they finished the season with a record of 20-14.

As he prepares for the draft, Fears will train under the guidance of agent Mike Miller, a former NBA player, in New York City. This new partnership will help improve his abilities and prepare him for the rigors of the pro game.
