Ravens’ Zay Flowers Doubtful for Playoff Clash Against Bills

Baltimore's star wide receiver, Zay Flowers, is listed as doubtful for the upcoming divisional playoff game against the Buffalo Bills. Flowers, who has been instrumental in the Ravens' offensive lineup with 74 receptions and 1,059 receiving yards this season, suffered a right knee injury during the regular-season finale on January 4 against the Cleveland Browns. His absence from Friday's practice has raised concerns about his availability for Sunday's critical matchup.

Flowers was notably absent from the Ravens' practice sessions this week, having not participated since his injury. Although he did engage in some running exercises while wearing a brace prior to Friday's practice, the Ravens have not completely ruled him out for the game. They even shared a portion of his workout on their social media platforms, indicating that he is making progress in his recovery.

In the event that Flowers cannot play, it would mark his first consecutive missed games. Lamar Jackson, the Ravens' quarterback, acknowledged the potential impact of Flowers' absence, describing it as a "huge challenge." The wide receiver has been a key player for Baltimore throughout the season, consistently making significant contributions to the team's performance.

Ravens coach John Harbaugh remains optimistic about Flowers' potential participation in Sunday's game.

If Zay Flowers is unable to take the field, the Ravens have other capable players ready to step up. Offensive coordinator Todd Monken expressed confidence in the team's depth and ability to adapt without Flowers. Despite this, Flowers' presence would be missed given his record of completing 16 of 21 passes for 175 yards and two touchdowns in a recent victory over the Pittsburgh Steelers during his stint as a sidelined player.
