Despite the change in venue, the Rams delivered a dominating performance, advancing to the divisional round of the playoffs.
The Rams took an early lead by scoring a touchdown on their opening drive, a feat they have achieved only twice before this season. Quarterback Matthew Stafford played a pivotal role, completing 19 of 27 passes for 209 yards and two touchdowns, while enduring two sacks. The Rams' offense was further bolstered by Jared Verse, who recovered a fumble and converted it into a touchdown, expanding their lead to 17-3 in the second quarter.
Defensively, the Rams were relentless, matching an NFL playoff record by sacking Vikings quarterback Sam Darnold nine times.
