Quail Hollow Club, known for its controversial dogwood trees and famous PGA Championships, will return to the rotation of the super-prestigious PGA Championship in 2025. The announcement comes after the club successfully managed previous championships, showcasing its capacity and dedication to maintaining the high standards expected of such significant golf events.
Since 1970, Quail Hollow Club has proudly hosted the PGA Championship on five occasions. The most recent tournament was held in May of 2022. It was an exciting finish as Justin Thomas bested Will Zalatoris to win the week in exciting fashion in a playoff. This exclusive win further cemented the club’s status as a top destination for major golf tournaments.
The upcoming 2025 PGA Championship marks a notable return for the club, which has previously held the tournament on multiple occasions. Even golf lovers aren’t blind to the joy of a smartly designed, walkable course. It’s pushed some of the world’s greatest athletes to their limits. The prestigious club is known for hosting top-level men’s and women’s events, including the U.S. Open in 1958, 1977 and 2001.
Quail Hollow certainly has deep roots of welcoming the game’s biggest championships. This accomplishment not only speaks to its popularity among players and fans alike, but underscores its dedication to providing an unparalleled golf experience. After recently reviewing course design over several years, I noticed some major improvements! We have made improvements to the facilities to adapt them to changing standards and expectations.
