Premier League Season Kick-Off and Key Fixtures Announced

The 2025/26 Premier League season started on Friday, August 15th. Supporters—along with all of our constituent clubs—are just as excited to be released into a dynamic, energetic football calendar! This season will not only showcase thrilling matches but be intertwined with significant events, including the upcoming World Cup.

The Premier League season would be scheduled to end on Sunday, May 24, 2026. Beyond the league calendar, fans can look forward to unique opportunities to watch some of the biggest competitions in the world all year long. Save the date—shaping change starts here! The Carabao Cup final takes place on Sunday 22 March. Immediately thereafter, the FA Cup final will take place on Saturday, May 16. Just as the season’s dog days are setting in, European Club Competitions wrapped up their thrilling conclusions. Prepare for all these cup finals—the Champions League final Saturday May 30, the Europa League final in Istanbul Wednesday May 20, the new Conference League final in Germany Wednesday May 27.

Sky Sports Coverage

Sky Sports will be at the heart of it all, showing 215 live Premier League matches in the 2025/26 season. This will deliver all the intense drama and excitement right to fans’ home screens. This substantial coverage means that approximately 80 percent of all televised Premier League matches this season will be available on Sky Sports. That means our fans will have more opportunity to see and experience the best matches from their home clubs all season long.

Among the notable matches scheduled early in December is Arsenal vs Brentford, which is set to kick off at 7:30 pm on Tuesday, December 2. A third fun fixture that evening is Brighton, who faces Aston Villa at the same time. Manchester United will meet West Ham at 8 pm on Thursday, December 4, followed by Leeds facing Liverpool at 5:30 pm on Saturday, December 6.

World Cup Impact

As the Premier League Calendar moves into June, so too will the FIFA World Cup, set to kick off on Thursday, June 11. Soccer fans everywhere should be riveted by the approach of the World Cup.
