The Oval Invincibles triumphed in the final of The Hundred, securing their third consecutive men’s title by defeating the Trent Rockets by 26 runs at Lord’s on Saturday. A standout performance from Will Jacks, who scored 72 runs off 41 balls, played a pivotal role in the Invincibles’ victory. His boundary-laden score of 74 runs helped his side post a mammoth 168 runs on the board. It additionally became the highest men’s Hundred final score by an individual.
As the tournament opened with their first match of play, Jacks wasted no time in establishing the attitude.
