In perhaps the most thrilling contest of the week, the Atlanta Falcons knocked off the Washington Commanders. Their strategic play and strong defense paved the way for a crucial win, further establishing their competitiveness in the league.
The positive vibes certainly traveled with the Rams to Los Angeles, where they beat the Indianapolis Colts 27-20. As they continue on in a challenging, hard-fought season, their performance was an inspiring display of grit and a shared commitment to working together toward playing in the postseason.
The Jacksonville Jaguars additionally took the first round of a nailbiter, topping the San Francisco 49ers 26-21. Underdog of the week Brock Purdy was battle-tested as he tried to keep the 49ers season alive, but the Jaguars weren’t about to be denied by anyone.
The Houston Texans were popping bottle over their huge milestone. After going 0-4 to start the season, they earned their first victory by beating the Tennessee Titans. That victory was just the shot of confidence that their spirits needed, as they hope to continue improving on this latest success.
The Pittsburgh Steelers and Minnesota Vikings matched up on Thursday night in a game that delivered on expectations. Ultimately, the Steelers weren’t fooled, coming away with a tight 24-21 victory. This win made for another competitive narrative of the season as teams jockey for position toward the playoff push.
