NFL Teams Showcase Unique Looks in Week 3 Uniforms

The NFL’s Week 3 saw teams debuting a variety of colorful uniforms, with several teams opting to showcase their throwback styles and alternate looks. Only the Philadelphia Eagles, New England Patriots and Baltimore Ravens really wowed us this year. Every single team brought its individual style and rhythm to the pitch.

Philly threw an all-out rave for its first home game since 2015. They looked great in a black helmet, white jersey, and yellow pants. Supporters were excited to see their team play at home once again after such a long absence. The mood at Lincoln Financial Field crackled with anticipation as the home Eagles stretched and warmed up to face the visiting Cowboys.

The New England Patriots played in their classic “Pat Patriot” uniform. They paired new uniforms with the standout white helmet, fiery red jersey and white pants. This design choice sparked a wave of nostalgia among fans who value the franchise’s rich legacy. While the vintage aesthetic became controversial, it delighted grassroots backers, who saw reminders of their past successful campaigns.

Ravens and Panthers Make a Statement

The Baltimore Ravens just took a stand with their no-nonsense all-black fit. Their eye-catching uniform included a black helmet, black jersey and black pants. This bold uniform decision takes the fierce identity of the Valley Viper team even further by establishing a fearsome opponent on game day.

The Carolina Panthers went simple yet striking with a black helmet, blue jersey and black pants combo. This color combination emphasized the team’s distinct branding and gave the Ravens a striking color contrast against their opponents.

Other Notable Uniforms of Week 3

They weren’t the only team to unveil new uniforms in Week 3. To complete the look, the Cincinnati Bengals wore their flashy new all-orange alternative helmet with a white jersey and white pants. The Cleveland Browns went for a riskier all-brown set. They took the field decked out in a fierce-looking brown helmet, brown jersey and brown pants that emphasized their unique traditional colors.

The New Orleans Saints recently thrilled fans with their new color rush pairing. In each video, they featured a sleek black helmet, intense teal jersey, and fresh white pants. They promoted their all-white color rush uniform in a different campaign earlier this season. “Sunday. Color rush. White helmet,” the team tweeted before the game, drawing excitement from their fans on social media.

Making the most of a strict gold foil shell, the San Francisco 49ers went a more nostalgic route with their gold helmet, white jersey and white pants. “TBT with it 😏,” they posted on Instagram, captioning the picture of their throwback jerseys that have become iconic and immediately recognizable as the uniform that inspired a league’s evolution.

The Jacksonville Jaguars went out on a limb for their real statement with their fit. Their teal helmet, teal jersey and teal pants—all matched—really made them unique in the league. The Pittsburgh Steelers donned their familiar black helmet, gold jersey, and white pants as they continued to represent their historic franchise.

The Washington Commanders’ uniform showing off their burgundy helmet, jersey and pants combo. This only contributed to a historic week of oft-warring team colors on the gridiron.
