Making the most of a strict gold foil shell, the San Francisco 49ers went a more nostalgic route with their gold helmet, white jersey and white pants. “TBT with it 😏,” they posted on Instagram, captioning the picture of their throwback jerseys that have become iconic and immediately recognizable as the uniform that inspired a league’s evolution.
