They will still have a 36.8% chance at a top-five pick and a robust 64.7% chance at a top-10 pick. The Seahawks’ position will certainly affect their approach as they try to add to their roster through the draft.

The average draft positions of these teams are a huge factor in determining their outlook moving forward. The Texans, sitting at 15.5, are in a nearly impossible environment to score franchise-changing talent but are still well-positioned to land some major difference-makers. The Bengals next highest is their avg draft position of 19.4. They’re up against a different hurdle as they now seek out the prize of ever-rarer higher picks. The Bengals currently hold a 14.7% chance of landing a top-10 draft pick. To increase their odds, they should be most concerned with improving their performance in the games left on their schedule.
Even on this 16-pick scale of measuring draft strength, the Seahawks’ position is fairly favorable. Their shambolic on-field operation and results-oriented metrics only serve to accelerate their inevitability of acquiring a top-10 pick. This added benefit puts them in an advantageous position as they begin to make offseason decisions.

Unfortunately for the Texans and Seahawks, they aren’t the only teams in the running. With a few other franchises seriously jockeying for the best 2026 NFL Draft picks. One undisclosed team has come forward with an even more impressive 16.2% odds of landing the No. They have a remarkable 55.4% odds of owning a top-five pick. This means that they are better placed than ever to make intelligent, strategic decisions that can have an enormous impact on their franchise’s long-term prospects.
Meanwhile, there’s one other team with a strong 10.4% chance of winning the #1 pick. They’re sitting on a very healthy 43.3% chance of landing a top-five pick. These odds indicate they are far from being assumed front-runners for the No. 1 overall pick. They remain very much in play for small, but incredibly valuable, early-round picks.
