To acknowledge the team and its players, they announced a temporary co-naming of streets across Manhattan to memorialize the team. This campaign is intended to help activate the entire community in welcoming home the Knicks as they start their playoff run.
The co-naming will start at the intersection of 6th Avenue and West Washington Place, where “Precious Achiuwa Place” will be revealed. The celebration will then head south to 6th Avenue and West 3rd Street. There, we’ll cut the ribbon on “Josh Hart Street” in his honor. These representational moves really underscore the team’s ties to the city and its angry, rabid, passionate fan base.
