The duo’s synergy was evident as they executed crucial plays that bolstered the Cardinals’ offensive strategy.

Head coach Jonathan Gannon has stressed the need to get both Harrison and tight end Trey McBride more involved in the passing game. As he noted, it’s too soon to make any broad conclusions about the Murray-Harrison pairing. That said, the early signs are certainly positive! “You guys know the passing game’s going to go through Trey McBride and [Harrison]. Then the role players need to get involved and do a good job, which they did,” Gannon stated.

He went on to commend his teammate’s effort, saying that Harrison played his “ass off” in the game.

Harrison echoed Murray’s sentiments regarding their relationship on the field, saying, “I think that’s always the biggest story between us is being able to connect on those deep balls.” He knew that they could be better with their throwing. As they continue into the future, Gannon said he’s sure that they’re in good hands with Harrison. “I could feel the confidence. I could feel the progression in his mindset,” he noted, highlighting the importance of fostering this relationship for future games.
