When it comes to MFC, we’re entering a big summer. The best-known among them is rising star Jude Bellingham — the 18-year-old midfielder has drawn interest from the continent’s biggest clubs. Manager Jens Berthel Askou says the chances of him leaving this summer are better than even. He is alternatively said to have just one year left on his present contract. Our exclusive talk with Ang is primarily about the Scottish Premiership. Earlier this month, Sky Sports made waves when it was announced that the fixtures of the 2025/26 season would be free to watch.
Kevin Miller had a quietly stellar season, making 39 appearances for Motherwell. He was awarded the captaincy by then-manager Stuart Kettlewell, as injuries had decimated the side. This leadership role has only further illuminated his potential, ultimately attracting the interest of Scotland’s top-tier teams, including Celtic, Rangers, Hearts and Aberdeen.
To bring you up to speed on the current situation, Askou confirmed that the Board was still actively engaged with potential suitors. He stated, “There’s been some bids on him recently, and it’s something the board is working with. I’m trying with the staff here to get the team ready for Saturday, so it’s going on in the background and will probably intensify in the coming days.”
All clubs are preparing ahead of what promises to be an exciting opening weekend of the new season. We’ve got fans, we’ve got broadcasters, and they’re all super excited about the Scottish Premiership. Sky Sports has already won exclusive TV rights to 215 Premier League matches a season, starting in 2025-26. Specifically, 80 percent of all televised Premier League matches next season will be exclusively available on Sky Sports.
Askou is dedicated to getting and keeping Miller in shape and prepared. He will be ready if Miller continues at Motherwell for the new season. “It’s going to be interesting to see how it’s all turning out, but for now he’s still a Motherwell player and he’s doing his best to get back to full training,” he remarked.
The prospect of Miller’s departure hangs thickly over Motherwell’s build-up. But no one knows how long that will take. To be fair, speculation, rumors, and interest in him has been building for a while, and now it’s really heating up. Clearly there is a very good chance that he makes the shift this summer. Nothing is set in stone, but still obviously there’s real tangible stuff happening, which we hoped for at this time,” Askou said.
