Liverpool Football Club have announced that they will be signing Dutch international Jeremie Frimpong as soon as the transfer window opens. The dynamic player has arguably been the most valuable piece for Bayer Leverkusen during the Bundesliga season. Now, as Liverpool seek to defend their Premier League title, he’s tasked with improving their attacking prowess despite needing rotation and injury cover.
Frimpong, known for his versatility, can play anywhere on the right-hand side of the pitch, including as a right-back and a winger. Along with adaptability, the Reds will possess a new tactical tactic to their arsenal. This change is meant to help them step up their game in the 2020 season.

Since the beginning of the current 2023/24 campaign, Frimpong has been a dynamo going forward. He has only attempted 168 take-ons and completed two through-balls. Overall, he netted 14 times and registered 12 assists in 47 appearances in all competitions this last season.
On the field last season, Frimpong dazzled by scoring five goals. In addition, he contributed 12 assists in just 48 appearances, cementing his impact on matches during his time.
