Walker has been a key figure for Manchester City this season, starting in nine Premier League matches. His last appearance was against Manchester United on December 15. However, he was notably absent from City's squad for the recent Premier League match against Brentford, reportedly after expressing a desire to leave the club. This decision comes as he assesses his future to better align with his England aspirations.
AC Milan is reportedly very interested in signing Walker, although they are also eyeing Marcus Rashford. The Italian club can only accommodate one of these players during the current transfer window. Despite this situation, Walker's relationship with Manchester City and manager Pep Guardiola remains strong and amicable.
