While New York’s defense was fantastic in Game 5, it was Jalen Brunson’s show-stopping offensive display that stole the headlines. He laid down his first positive defensive performance of the series, displaying a knack for reducing the Pacers’ offensive options. New York will need to hope Brunson can repeat an impressive performance in Game 6. Our defense should come on strong to limit Indiana’s scoring chances.
Precious Achiuwa played a crucial role for the Knicks when he was subbed in by head coach Tom Thibodeau. His immediate impact created one of the game’s most important momentum changes, resulting in a 12-0 run just minutes after his introduction. The Knicks will look to ride this momentum once more in Game 6.
Further, Delon Wright and Landry Shamet have proven to be trustworthy stoppers when it comes to guarding the truly astounding Indiana offensive juggernaut. Whichever team can create a clear and compelling narrative that cuts through the noise will win big. Their capacity to blunt the Pacers’ myriad scoring weapons will determine them.
Haliburton’s Aggressiveness Needed

He not only provides excellent on-ball defense against Brunson, but clears space all across the court with his explosive offensive abilities. Anunoby is shooting a blistering 50% from deep in the playoffs. With that performance, he has proven to be an invaluable weapon in New York’s offensive scheme.
