Quarterback Josh Allen of the Buffalo Bills should be a lock to step on the field on Sunday. So here’s looking at an exciting game against the Philadelphia Eagles, fans! Allen was dealing with soreness in his right foot earlier this week from an injury. The good news is that Eric’s health has dramatically improved since that time. Bills coach Sean McDermott indicated on Friday that Allen should be good to go for the season opener.
Allen’s week began with challenges as he did not participate in Tuesday’s practice and was limited during Wednesday’s walk-through. By Friday, he was back to 100 percent and was participating in all aspects of practice. He was completely calm and collected, by no means panicking. The soreness in his foot has been dissipating day by day, leading to optimism regarding his performance on game day.
The lack of injury designation on the last injury report gives fans and teammates even more peace of mind. The coaching staff and medical team are confident that Allen will enter the game without any limitations, allowing him to perform at his best against the Eagles’ defense.
In practice on Friday, Allen looked sharp his mobility was on display, and the deep ball accuracy he’s known for. If this continues to be the case, that’ll be great news for the Bills as they head into what may be their biggest test so far in Philadelphia. Needless to say, Allen has to run the show as well as anyone ever could. It all starts with T4America’s victory on home turf, their own.
