Joe Root and Rising Stars Shine at 2025 Cricket Media Club Awards

Joe Root, England’s cricketing superstar and 2025 Cricket Media Club award winner! He captured England’s Bob Willis Trophy and was awarded the coveted honor of England’s player of the year. This new honor comes on the heels of an extraordinary year for Root. October 2024 saw him establish himself as England’s all-time leading Test run-scorer and move up to second place on the overall Test list behind legendary Indian Sachin Tendulkar.

Root’s proud accomplishment as the highest run-scorer has further solidified his status among cricketing elites.
