Boston Celtics All-Star swingman Jaylen Brown is preparing for the postseason. He’ll be going up against the Orlando Magic this Sunday. Despite nursing a bone bruise in his right knee, Brown expressed optimism following Saturday’s practice and assured fans he would not face any minutes restriction during the game.
Brown sat out the last three games of the regular season due to a knee concern. Now, he’s back and taking part in practices with no restrictions. He got pain-dampening injections to help facilitate the healing process, and it left him feeling “good” after the team’s Saturday session. And as the last Celtic to leave the court, his dogged will was palpable.
Brown wouldn’t get into details about his injury, he didn’t shy away from stressing that his sights were set on business, going forward.

This season, Brown has averaged an eye-popping 22.5 points per game. Now, he is the second-leading scorer for the Boston Celtics, only trailing superstar Jayson Tatum. His scoring touch will be in high demand with the Celtics’ goal being a long run through the postseason.
Heading into Game 1, Brown was well aware of the heavy expectations that have followed the team all season. He announced that he and his colleagues are very cognizant of their end goals while keeping their eyes on the prize by continuing to focus on short-term wins.
