Detroit Lions quarterback Jared Goff is having a hell of a year, on the field and off. In the 2024 NFL season, he then went out and led the Lions to a remarkable 15-2 record. This success coupled with the Kansas City Chiefs gave the Ravens the best record in the league. With Goff’s performance, he earned the No. 1 seed for the upcoming NFL playoffs. He passed for an incredible 4,629 passing yards, 37 touchdowns, second in the entire league in passing yards right behind Joe Burrow.
Goff and the Lions proved everyone wrong, putting together an incredible season. They ran into an unexpected buzzsaw in the NFC Divisional round of the playoffs. The Commanders knocked them out in the second round, 45-31. Fans and players alike were understandably distraught after such a successful regular season.
Beyond his résumé, personal success was the order of the day, as he and wife Christen Harper welcomed their first child in 2021. The couple shared news of the birth of their first child, a daughter named Romy Isabelle Goff. They revealed the pregnancy surprise at the NFL Honors ceremony back in February, where Goff shared his excitement about becoming a father.

The couple’s journey only began in 2019. They became engaged in June 2022 and plan to marry in June 2024 in their home state of California. Goff and Harper have tweeted their enthusiasm for this new chapter in their lives.
