Jamie Overton Ruled Out of West Indies ODIs Due to Broken Finger

Jamie Overton, the seamer on standby for England’s match against India, needs surgery after sustaining a broken finger. Consequently he will return home before the last two one-day internationals against the West Indies. Overton suffered the injury while trying to catch a return catch during England’s series-opener at Edgbaston. Despite his determination to continue, he left the field for treatment but later returned to bowl, contributing significantly by taking three wickets.
