Isaiah Bond, a former college football standout, has announced his decision to sign with the Cleveland Browns after a tumultuous few months that included an arrest on a sexual assault warrant. Bond’s journey has been marked by both promise and controversy, as he was considered a highly touted prospect entering this year’s NFL draft but ultimately went undrafted following his legal troubles.
In April, Bond was apprehended on the basis of an outstanding sexual assault warrant. He was later released from the Collin County jail after posting a bail set at $25,000. The allegations of sexual assault against him understandably led to serious question marks, affecting his draft stock. After a long review of the facts, a Collin County grand jury chose not to file charges against him.

Bond said they were pleased with the result in the case and thanked the Browns for their support. In an announcement shared on social media, he expressed gratitude to the organization for their faith in his abilities.
“I’m determined to prove the Browns organization and everyone who believes in me right for putting their trust in me.” – Isaiah Bond
On the field, Bond continued to dominate consistently throughout his college career. He began his college career at the University of Alabama. In the two seasons he played for the Utes, he caught 65 passes, gained 888 yards, and scored five touchdowns. His one year at Texas in 2024 was a known tenure for players in the Nook’s world. He finished with 34 receptions for 540 yards and five touchdowns.
After his arrest, Bond suffered the loss of a chance to be drafted. Now he’s thrilled to begin a new chapter with the Browns. He’s claimed that he’s ready to help the team wherever he can and prove himself as an impact playmaker.
