With the whole South African batting lineup cracking under pressure, they found themselves bowled out within just 27.5 overs. Overall, England’s excellent accurate and aggressive bowling proved too much for South Africa who were left with nowhere to go.
And when it was time for England to bat, they exhibited the proper patience and discipline when pressured. Openers Amy Jones and Tammy Beaumont navigated the innings with skill, ensuring that England reached their target without losing a wicket. Jones’ unbeaten 40 and Beaumont’s 21 all contributed to the scoreboard. Together, their partnership laid the groundwork for an easy win.
England’s swift 73-run chase highlighted their dominance in the match, offering a significant boost to their net run-rate as they aim for further success in the tournament.
