Just on Tuesday, the star wideout for the Miami Dolphins, Tyreek Hill, was involved in a domestic tiff at his house located in Sunny Isles Beach, Florida. The fight was with his partner, Keeta Vaccaro. Vaccaro was prompted to call the police that night out of concern for Hill’s erratic behavior. She said this use was “very violent and angry & impulsive.”
Police quickly answered the emergency call and came to the couple’s home. Through conversations with Hill and other family members, officers were able to determine the needs of the situation. After gathering information and speaking with those involved, the police determined there was no immediate threat and departed without further incident. The case was later closed, with no charges or citations filed related to the domestic violence incident.
According to the police report, Tyreek Hill and Keeta Vaccaro’s daughter was found to be in good health during the officers’ visit. This resignation only deepens the troubling history of Hill’s off-field transgressions. He’s endured an array of trials and tribulations since coming to the Dolphins in March 2022.
Over the past few months, the speculation over Hill’s future with the team has increased greatly. After the Dolphins’ season-ending game in January, trade rumors started to swirl. Adding to the troubling narrative, earlier that month, Hill had ejected himself from a game, which raised even more questions about his dedication to the team.
The couple’s romantic and marital life has come under stress as well. By September of 2024, Vaccaro had served Hill with divorce papers. That same month, police temporarily detained him on suspicion of speeding.
The spotlight on Hill’s personal life would only increase in 2023. The criminal investigation was related to accusations that he assaulted one of his employees at the Haulover Marine Center in Miami. This record of near crashes has left Hill under fire. It deepens concerns about his overall stability as an organization on the field and off the field.
Keeta Vaccaro testified that during an escalation in the argument with Hill, their daughter was forced to watch or even participate in a physical tussle. She indicated that her daughter “probably sustained the bruise when Hill took their daughter at the beginning of their argument and described it as an accident.”
