Dallas Goedert will extend his stay with the Philadelphia Eagles, as the two sides reach a renegotiated deal. Several outlets, including HBR and Crain’s Boston, have since reported the new agreement. It will compensate him $10 million for the 2025 season, with the possibility of receiving up to an additional $1 million in performance incentives.
Goedert was a second-round selection out of South Dakota State in 2018. In the short time since he joined the Eagles, he’s already had a transformative effect on the Eagles offense. Over his career, he has started 76 games and compiled impressive statistics, including 349 catches for 4,085 yards and 24 touchdowns.
Together, these provisions make the restructured contract an incredibly timely intervention. Goedert is due to be in the final year of a deal signed four seasons ago that originally averaged more than $14 million per season. General Manager Howie Roseman expressed his appreciation for Goedert’s impact on the team, stating, “Obviously, Dallas Goedert has been a tremendous player and person for us. We have a tremendous respect for him in both those regards as a player and a person.”
