With Jonathan Taylor at the helm, who delivered one of the most complete performances of his career in Week 2, the Colts have established a strong running game. Taylor’s ability to stretch the field and break through defenses has added a dynamic, explosive element to the Eagles’ passing attack.
In addition to Taylor, Jones has effectively utilized his receiving corps, which includes Michael Pittman Jr., Josh Downs, Alec Pierce, and Adonai Mitchell. These receivers can all be dangerous, especially between the numbers. They purposefully manufacture mismatches that almost always leave defenses on their heels.

The offensive line’s excellence has carried the Colts to the top of the NFL standings. They’re first in the league in yards per play (an absurd 6.5) and fourth in points per game (31.0). This efficiency is a testament to the skill of the players and the coaching staff’s ability to adapt and make necessary adjustments.

He remarked, “So, yeah, a little bit [of satisfaction]. But I think I’ve realized — and I think I said this last week — I’ve played a few years now, and one game, two games, don’t make a season.”
