Chicago Bulls’ Forward Torrey Craig Sidelined with Ankle Injury

The Chicago Bulls announced on Monday that forward Torrey Craig will be out for at least two weeks due to a sprained right ankle. This development places the 34-year-old player on the sidelines as the Bulls aim to improve their season standing. Craig, who has not played since December 30, 2023, will undergo a re-evaluation in two weeks to determine his recovery progress.

Craig's absence comes after he delivered a season-high performance, scoring 18 points in the Bulls’ 115-108 victory against Charlotte on December 30, 2023. So far, Craig has participated in nine games during his second season with the Chicago Bulls, averaging 6.9 points and 2.8 rebounds per game. Despite his limited appearances this season, Craig's contributions have been vital for the team's strategy.

Since making his NBA debut with the Denver Nuggets in 2017, Craig has played for four different teams: Denver, Milwaukee, Phoenix, and Indiana. Throughout his career, he has engaged in 441 games, maintaining averages of 6.0 points and 4.0 rebounds per game. His experience and skills have made him a valuable asset on the court, one that the Bulls will miss during his recovery period.

The Bulls currently hold a record of 18-21 after a recent loss to Sacramento on Sunday. As they navigate the ongoing season, Craig's temporary absence adds to the challenges faced by the team. The forward's performance and presence will be missed as the Bulls strive to regain their momentum in the competitive landscape of the NBA.
