Charlotte Edwards has today been officially appointed the England women’s head coach. This appointment is another crowning achievement in her storied career. The former cricketer has a storied influence on the global game, both as a world class player and acclaimed coach. Edwards, who debuted internationally in 1996, has been an inspiration for advocacy and change within the sport. She went on to appear in 143 One Day Internationals (ODIs) and 82 Tests for England over her career.
