Chicago Bears rookie quarterback Caleb Williams dazzled fans in his NFL debut on Sunday, throwing four touchdown passes. In a show of support, The Wieners Circle hosted a special promotion in honor of his accomplishment. The game, held against the Dallas Cowboys, showcased Williams’ skills as he connected with wide receivers Rome Odunze, Luther Burden III, DJ Moore, and tight end Cole Kmet. His first-half performance was capped with three touchdowns, leaving fans expecting yet another victory in the game’s match-up.

Wieners Circle, one of Chicago’s famous hot dog joints, further capitalized on Williams’ fortuitous victory. They ran a promo that gave customers free hot dogs if he threw four touchdown passes. Co-owner Ari Levy at first pegged the likelihood of that occurring at 5 to 10 percent. Early on, Williams was unstoppable, and it continued as the game went on. To prepare for a big celebratory giveaway, Levy planned on bringing in 2,000 more hot dogs beyond the normal flow.

After the game, Caleb Williams recognized The Wieners Circle’s movement and thanked them for their excitement to fans.

They could hardly believe their eyes, after waiting an hour for their free meal!

Fans such as Davin Strouse went from disillusioned with the Bears’ season to optimistic that a dramatic transformation was underway. Strouse noted, “With the way the season has gone, he hit two pretty quick, and that flea-flicker was pretty remarkable.” This note of optimism was palpable throughout the event as attendees and advocates alike rallied to save their team.
Businesses local to every single community, such as S. Rosen’s Bakery in Chicago, became absolutely integral to the event’s success. They gifted us 2,000 poppy seed buns to help The Wieners Circle do its thing during the giveaway! This unique collaboration was a hugely visible celebration of the Williams community’s support for both Williams and the Bears as they continue to aggressively pursue success this season.
