Brenton Strange Activated from Injured Reserve Ahead of Jaguars’ Clash with Cardinals

The Jacksonville Jaguars have officially activated tight end Brenton Strange from injured reserve. This is great news as it now makes him eligible to return to the field in time for Sunday’s matchup with the Arizona Cardinals. Strange missed the final five contests with a hip injury. He incurred the injury in the Jaguars’ Week 5 win against the Kansas City Chiefs.

For the team, Strange’s absence was certainly felt. Up to his injury, he was the Jaguars’ reception leader and 2nd in receiving yards. His return would prove to be a massive boost to the Jaguars’ starting lineup. That’s sure to spark them, as they prepare to storm on the field against the Cardinals.

The Jaguars announced they’d activated Strange on Saturday, indicating that he’s ready to help out again. Though the Colts have battled injuries throughout the roster this season, they’ve been particularly hampered at the tight end position. Strange’s return gives the conference a major strategic advantage.

Aside from Strange’s return, the Jaguars are dealing with issues on other fronts. Defensive end Travon Walker has been ruled out after undergoing a minor procedure on his knee, along with receiver Brian Thomas Jr. Their absence will place additional pressure on the remaining roster as they seek to secure a victory against the Cardinals.

The matchup against Arizona presents an opportunity for the Jaguars to enhance their offensive capabilities with Strange back in action. When healthy, he was their best player. Today, his return might be just what the doctor ordered to jumpstart the Jaguars’ woeful passing attack.

As the game approaches, fans and analysts will be closely monitoring Strange’s performance and its effect on the Jaguars’ overall strategy against a competitive Cardinals team. His talent, creativity and knack for finding the most advantageous plays could be the difference in getting Jacksonville its first victory.
