Hendrickson joined the Bengals four years ago and quickly established himself as a cornerstone of their defense. His stellar performance includes leading the NFL with 17.5 sacks in 2024, earning him a first-team All-Pro selection. He also reached the Pro Bowl for the fourth consecutive year. The Bengals have expressed a strong desire to secure Hendrickson with a long-term contract, acknowledging his substantial contributions. His average annual salary currently ranks 11th among all edge rushers, following a one-year extension to his original four-year, $60 million deal two years ago. This extension positions him to earn $15.8 million in base salary in 2025, along with a $200,000 roster bonus, culminating in a cap hit of $18.7 million.
