Kim disclosed that he has been diagnosed with a blood clot in his leg, marking a challenging setback in his return to the sport after a prolonged absence.
Two weeks before the anticipated Riyadh @golf_league event in 2025, Kim began experiencing health issues. This development comes as a surprise, especially considering his recent return to golf in March 2024 after a 12-year hiatus. The hiatus followed surgery on his left Achilles tendon in 2012, after which he withdrew from public life.
During his break from the sport, Kim faced numerous personal challenges, including battles with drug and alcohol use. He candidly shared,
