Anthony Edwards Defies Injury to Lead Wolves to Victory

Anthony Edwards put on a show for the Minnesota Timberwolves. There was a big scare when he re-injured his left ankle last weekend in a matchup against the Golden State Warriors. The occurrence took place five minutes into the second quarter. When Warriors big man Trayce Jackson-Davis unfortunately stepped on Edwards’ ankle, everyone rushed to her side—including her teammates and fans—hoping she was okay.

Julius Randle commended him, stating, “He’s one of the more resilient people that I know.” He further likened Edwards to a superhero, saying, “Nothing holds him down. He never misses games… he’s like Ironman. I’ve seen him get hit, get knocked down so many times.”

T Wolves coach Chris Finch was frank in his assessment of Edwards’ injury right from the start. “This one, I was really worried about, actually,” he remarked.
