Afghanistan’s strong all-round showing highlighted their cricketing ability, with both bat and ball taking top honors.
Afghanistan wicketkeeper Rahmanullah Gurbaz is a big reason this match went deep, providing great security with his clean wicketkeeping skills. His quick reflexes were evident when he stumped Bangladesh’s Rishad Hossain, who scored just 5 runs before being bowled by Rashid Khan. Nangeyalia Kharote, Allah Ghazanfar and Bashir Ahmad left their mark in other areas during the match, completing a well-rounded team effort from Afghanistan.
