Bhayshul Tuten, Jacksonville Jaguars running back and star of last week’s show, is unavailable for the next game. He won’t be suiting up against the Indianapolis Colts this Sunday. Tuten has been sidelined following a finger injury he sustained two weeks ago during a decisive victory over the New York Jets.
The injury happened December 14 th at EverBank Stadium, when the Jaguars shocked the world and beat the Indianapolis Colts 48-20. After the incident, Tuten had to have surgery to repair the damage done to his finger. And soon after that, he got injured and had to rehabilitate and make a comeback. As a result, he sat out the team’s game against the Denver Broncos on December 21.
Though he had been trending in the right direction, Tuten only practiced on a limited basis this week. He was marked as questionable for their beating against the Colts on Friday. As of this morning it’s officially game over for him.
All this season, Tuten has been a key offensive player for the Jaguars. He’s rushed for 284 yards. On top of that, he’s tallied four touchdowns, establishing him as a crucial playmaker in the team’s backfield. His loss will certainly be felt by the Jaguars as they look forward to their big game against their division cousins comfortably ahead.
