Stiff resistance came from England’s bowlers as Ireland found it difficult to settle down and build a firm innings. Ultimately, they were all out for 117 runs with one ball to spare. Mustafizur Rahman was the pick of the bowlers for Bangladesh, shining as the side’s standout bowler. He took an eye-catching 3-11 off his 4 overs. His efforts were instrumental in preventing Ireland from creating high-quality scoring chances for the entirety of the game.
Bangladesh’s run in the series had them making a comeback after losing the first T20 by 39 runs. They equalized the series on Saturday with a thrilling four-wicket win that has now set up the perfect nail-biting finale in the series-decider third match.
