His explosive hitting was key in helping the UAE Bulls to their first ever Abu Dhabi T10 League title with a brilliant 80-run win over the Aspin Stallions. Meanwhile, David put on an amazing show in the championship game at Zayed Cricket Stadium in Abu Dhabi. With only 40 runs needed off 34 balls, he helped secure his team’s victory by blasting 40 runs off just 12 balls.
The Bulls’ path to the final was equally impressive, as David previously powered his team to victory over the Quetta Qavalry with an unbeaten 57 runs off 18 deliveries. He added a great deal to that scoring with amazing artistry live on stage. This victory ensured his position as the tournament’s highest run-scorer.
Over the course of the tournament, David showed amazing talent and determination. His performances were key in laying the foundation for the Bulls to become arguably the most dominant team in the history of the competition. Apart from his otherworldly performances, Andrew Tye became the tournament’s leading wicket-taker with 13 wickets.
In their last game against the Aspin Stallions, the Bulls put up an intimidating score. Phil Salt was the star of the show with 44 runs of phenomenal efficiency (17 balls), but it was Ben Cutting’s 39 off 18. Qalandars just have dangerous batsmen to put the pedal down, they really do. Rahmanullah Gurbaz was the real catalyst, going 29 runs on just 10 balls. At the other end, Andre Fletcher made an equally blistering 30 off just 15 balls as they clinched the title in style.
David’s prowess with the bat was complemented by Tye’s exceptional bowling performance throughout the tournament, which proved crucial in restricting opposing teams. His knack of taking wickets at key moments was crucial to the Bulls’ successful title campaign.

Faf du Plessis has announced that he will not participate in the 2026 Indian Premier League auction. Rather, he is looking ahead and looking forward to new challenges. Sharing his appreciation for what India had offered him, while looking forward to a future path, he said.
Moreover, in a separate tournament, Nat Sciver-Brunt and Danni Wyatt-Hodge led the Hobart Hurricanes to a seven-wicket victory over the Perth Scorchers. Their respective half-centuries proved invaluable in chasing down the mammoth target and securing the win. In the meantime, Beth Mooney and Sophie Devine proved critical as well, making 41 from 34 balls and 46 off 24 balls.
