Raskin Thrives at Rangers Under New Leadership

Nico Raskin, 24, has made a good career move to Rangers. This move comes on the heels of the release of their former head coach Russell Martin. After struggling under the pressure of this season’s early challenges, Raskin found a fresh source of inspiration. This transformation happened under the direction of Danny Röhl, who inherited the squad in October.

Just before Martin was sacked, Raskin returned to the team. While he did fine in his work under the former manager, his relationship with that person quickly deteriorated and became toxic. The young, raw player found it difficult to have substantive conversations with Martin. This would have left him concerned that, like at Rangers, his time could be up this summer. “There was a point when it was tough and I had clear indication that my future was in doubt,” Raskin stated.

As this process continued, Raskin grew more concerned about his position. The rift in their relationship caused a great deal of hostility that took a huge emotional toll on him. There’s little doubt that Raskin’s fight for cred in the locker room took a toll on his performance and psyche. Reflecting on that turbulent period, he remarked, “I can’t lie, it was really difficult for me, that period. I’m still trying to get back to my best form, whether it’s physically or mentally. It’s not been great.”

Though Raskin won’t forget the early-season woes anytime soon, with the arrival of Röhl, he looks forward to leaving that in the past. He wants to reinforce his position as one of the core members of the team and help produce in a big way to drive Juventus’ success. His recent performances have been some of the most encouraging seen for a while, and he has proven himself on an international level with Belgium.

Yet Raskin’s efforts have not gone unnoticed by the backers, who have continued to stand by Raskin through his battle. Their support has given him an extra incentive to continue kicking butt on the field. As he continues to integrate into Röhl’s plans, Raskin is focused on moving forward and solidifying his role in the team.

The young midfielder’s journey reflects the challenges many players face in their careers, particularly when dealing with coaching changes and interpersonal dynamics within a team. Raskin’s resolve to return stronger from any setback is testament to his character and dedication to the team. Hear more about his journey from disappointment to delight.
