They were indeed making history as they became the first duo to accomplish a 20-point triple-double in San Antonio Spurs history.
As per ESPN Research, Wembanyama and Castle’s strong showings was a historic day for the Spurs franchise. With the ability to impact the game in major ways through points, assists, and rebounds, they each made their cases as two of the league’s next ascending stars.
