Kai Trump to Make LPGA Tour Debut at The Annika Driven by Gainbridge

Donald Trump Jr.’s eldest daughter, Kai Trump, is about to make her long-awaited LPGA Tour debut. Visitors will have an opportunity to see her talent on display at The Annika Driven by Gainbridge November 10-16 at Pelican Golf Club in Belleair, Florida. Highlighting what is easily one of the years’ strongest non-major fields, this event almost always features a loaded field. Beyond that, it represents a pivotal moment in her burgeoning golf career.

Kai Trump is a senior at The Benjamin School in Palm Beach County. She is the top-ranked teenage golfer. She just officially signed on to be a member of the Miami Hurricanes golf team starting next year. This decision demonstrates her intense commitment to furthering her athletic endeavors. Along with the opportunity of her LPGA debut, Trump was gifted a sponsor exemption, giving her the chance to play against battle-tested professionals.

The Annika Driven by Gainbridge is the second to last event on the LPGA schedule. It will help them attract the best talent. In many ways, this gives Kai an opportunity to flex her skills on a wider, more influential stage.

“My dream has been to compete with the best in the world on the LPGA Tour,” said Kai Trump, expressing her excitement for the upcoming competition.

Beyond her golf dreams, Kai Trump has created waves beyond the 18th hole. With over 6 million combined followers across four social media platforms, she is positioned to introduce golf to new audiences, particularly among younger fans. Her latest creative venture is an apparel and lifestyle brand. This new initiative continues to inspire female athletes and grows her impact outside of the golf course.

This year, Trump has only attended three such events. Today, she sits at 461st in the AJGA Girls American Junior Golf Association Ranking. Her engagement and online presence have sparked interest in her journey as a golfer and as a role model for aspiring young athletes.

Ricki Lasky, an official associated with the tournament, noted, “Sponsor invitations are an important way to spotlight emerging talent and bring new attention to our tournaments and the LPGA.” This is the very sentiment that underscores the need for events like The Annika to continue introducing new faces to the sport.

The clock is ticking on outreach excitement for The Annika Driven by Gainbridge! Caitlin Clark, the most electrifying player in college basketball, is returning to join the pro-am for a second consecutive year on Nov. 12. The event will not only showcase the best in competitive golf but lay the groundwork for a new generation of future athletes.
