His opening marker certainly paved the way for what would soon turn into a rout.

Gabriel Martinelli added to the scoreline after being set up by Myles Lewis-Skelly, further showcasing Arsenal’s attacking depth and coordination. The Gunners took advantage of set-piece situations, scoring two more from corners that had Atletico’s backline reeling.
