D.K. Metcalf put on a show on Sunday. Last week’s breakout performance receiver again stood out, especially in that opening half, totaling 122 yards through the air. This accomplishment stands as his greatest tally in one half during his seven-year professional career.
Metcalf’s remarkable day included an 80-yard touchdown reception, which contributed to the Steelers’ success and etched his name in the NFL history books as the longest touchdown from scrimmage in an international game. This record-breaking play occurred when Metcalf caught a perfectly timed pass from quarterback Aaron Rodgers, effortlessly outrunning two converging Vikings defenders before streaking toward the sideline.

“But as long as you’re putting points on the board and winning, that’s all I care about,” he said.
Metcalf clearly just cares that they become better.
“Y’all can come up with whatever scenario or slogan y’all want for identity,” he added. “Getting him the ball is always our agenda,” said head coach Mike Tomlin, confirming their plan to consistently involve Metcalf in their offensive strategies.
Metcalf’s stellar performance included an 11-yard gain that set up running back Kenneth Gainwell’s touchdown, marking the Steelers’ second score of the afternoon.
